When will our government open up the Florida Keys?
Florida Keys has been restricted, for the past 45 days (March 15, 2020) with no end insight which violates all of our rights both vacationers and businesses.
They have erected, illegal road blocks, a clear violation of (intra-state Commerce Clause) by both Governor of Florida Ron DeSantis and Mayor of Monroe County – Mayor Heather Carruthers.
If our local government keeps us all closed indefinitely or until the (Mayor of Monroe County) sees fit to allow us to open up our businesses again. Because of their “Draconian illegal orders” and “unrealistic rules’ to stop us from opening up and making a living we are all doomed here in the Keys.
Help Us Open Up the Florida Keys!
We need to continue to make a living just like everyone else. This shut down by the Government is affecting our ability to work, feed our families and make a living here in the Florida Keys. Since all of our business have be permanently interrupted “except for a few essential ones” we’re all in deep trouble trying to maintain our lively hoods and the future of the Florida Keys. By the time they will allow us to open up we will be in Hurricane season and this will kill the entirely Keys.
We're a group of Florida Keys Vacation Businesses looking to maintain our Civil Rights in the Florida Keys. We need to file an injunction with the courts and hire a Constitutional attorney to prevent what is happening in the Florida Keys. We need help now launching the website for members to finally give small businesses a voice in our local and state government. Next we will all be faced with mounds of bankruptcies and foreclosures because of this shutdown. We’ll loose our homes as well as businesses and no one will be able to come vacation and visit the Florida Key.
